A few years back, the need for an English language magazine that
could introduce Swedish culture, lifestyles and political developments
to diplomats and other expatriates living here was keenly felt. It was
recognized that a suitable magazine could go a long way in making
their stay in Sweden more rewarding and fruitful.

Swedish Bulletin (formally The Stockholm Bulletin), which
began
publishing in June 2002
, is just such a magazine, meant for the
entire family. It has a basic, simple goal, and that is to help its readers
make the most out of living in Sweden through a better understanding
of Swedish society, living conditions and customs. The magazine
introduces its readers to what Sweden has to offer in terms of
culture, art and entertainment. It also gives coverage to some of the
interesting personalities living here. The best restaurants and shops
are reviewed regularly.

Swedish Bulletin
provides political and economic analysis, as
well as other significant news about the city and country that could be
of special interest to foreigners. The magazine does not hesitate to
address controversial issues, or to highlight problems faced by
expatriates living in Sweden, but it does so responsibly. The Bulletin's
constructive approach is consistent with the aim of enhancing mutual
understanding between the expatriates and the Swedish people.

Swedish Bulletin could be used as
a bridge between the
expatriate community
and the host country. By reading our
magazine regularly, our readers feel more informed, less isolated and
more effec, tive in their professional tasks and leisurely pursuits.

Available in NK English Bookshop, Sweden Bookshop, Gray's
American Food Store, Sheraton Hotel Press/Crystal Shop.
